Over at Bob's Bog is a shocker in which a teenager was arrested in London for having a sign that called Scientology a cult. Arrested. So much for freedom of speech in Great Britain. Here is a list - Scientology is on it so he isn't the only one that considers it a cult.

Home schooling unlawful, says California court (OneNewsNow.com) In the comments at One Cosmos in the Thursday, March 06, 2008 post
The Audacity of Dreaming and the Power of Losers (a must read) one of the commenters "qp" alerted me to this outrageous ruling by a California judge.
GET THIS:
"Parents who fail to [comply with school enrollment laws] may be subject to a criminal complaint against them, found guilty of an infraction, and subject to imposition of fines or an order to complete a parent education and counseling program."
Sort of like the communists did when they dumbed down their populations - easier to control them that way.

Folks, make no mistake about it, we are loosing more and more of our hard fought for freedoms. Freedom is not free!
