Supposedly it is contained here and heading toward Ventura thank God. It's stopped snowing ash so tomorrow the cars get washed and we pretend we are together people as the onslaught of relatives and friends alight for my daughter and Sam's commitment to the sacrement of holy matrimony this weekend along with many celebratory festivites.
..."so tomorrow the cars get washed and we pretend we are together people as the onslaught of relatives and friends alight. . ." in addition to being a warm listener, chief cheerleader, constant complimenter, and otherwise source of support for your daughter.
Mother of the Bride is a big, but satisfying job, no?

Hi Gecko,
I hope and pray the fire is contained and put out soon!
Beautiful photo of an everpresent threatening reality. I would be in a state of anxiety if that were the view from my backyard.
Prayers for RAIN and containment.
You linked me! You really blogrolled me? LOL!!
Thanks, gecko!
Wow! I hope it didn't come any closer than that. What a beautiful image, though.
