This program was originally broadcast on HBO 20 years ago. It was taped at the old Storyville Nightclub on Decatur Street in the French Quarter. Paul Shaffer, Letterman's music director, was the MC. The two guitarists are Carl Perkins (Blue Suede Shoes) and Ron Wood (Small faces and Rolling Stones).
